A great photograph is transformative--it doesn't simply capture a subject--it explains it. It makes you think differently. It captures a subject from an angle you may not have seen before. A great photograph tells a story. Most beautifully, a great photograph can be taken by anyone, anytime.
I don't claim to have ever taken a great photograph--that's not for me to decide. I seek to capture the world as I see it--to pull simple moments out of time, preserving them forever. I find inspiration everywhere--whether it be sunlight streaming through the broken window of an abandoned house, or just the right lighting on a patch of moss. There's beauty in every detail, and I do my best to capture it.
